NOTES ON PRICES — SITE WELDED TANKS

Prices listed apply for atmospheric pressure cone roof tanks supplied and erected to standard specification in England. For other designs and specifications, e.g. API 650, pressure tanks, domed roof tanks, tanks to contain liquids over 1000 kg/M3 or with corrosion allowance, for other locations including overseas projects, prices will be quoted on request. Seismic loads are also taken into account, when applicable.

Tank Fittings

The choice of fittings for site welded tanks is very extensive but for budget cost purposes, a selection of the more common fittings and accessories Is price tabled. Prices include fitting and testing to code.

Standard Range Tanks — Prices

PRICE - 'A'	Basic tank as specification, excluding tank fittings and finish which are priced separately.
PRICE - 'B'	Extra cost for radiographic examination of tank shell plate welds, as Section 17 of BS2654 with acceptance levels as table 7. DPI/MPI of shell manholes and welded nozzles as BS2654 Section11.6 as well as testing of reinforcing plates to Section 18.3 can be carried out at additional cost.
PRICE - 'C'	Extra cost for wire brushing all internal tank surfaces, structural members with application one coat 'Ensis' preserving oil after hydro test and clean out.
PRICE - 'D'	Extra cost for tank shell and roof plates shotblast SA 2.5 prior to welding, with 25 microns weldable blast primer applied. All weld margins, erection scars and damaged areas made good by power wirebrushing, patch primer applied.
PRICE - 'E'	Extra for wire brushed and primer painted single stringer spiral stairway welded to tank shell as BS2654 Section 11.10 and Fig 25 with open mesh non-slip treads, 600 wide,
PRICE - 'F'	As 'E' above but of double stringer construction (for insulated tanks), also conforming to Section B.4.2.
PRICE - 'G'	Extra for vertical access ladder to tank roof level, caged above 2.5M. generally in accordance with BS4211. Ladders of height greater than 6M have intermediate rest platforms fitted.
PRICE - 'H'	Extra for roof top peripheral handrailing in accordance BS2654 Section 11,11 and Figs 25 and 26,wire brushed and primer painted. For tanks 12.5M diameter and over, handrailing to roof apex,centre pulpit plus toe treads can be fitted fi access is necessary at cost to be quoted. See BS2654 cl 11.11.13. GALVANISING. If handrailing, standards, stair treads are required to be galvanised, add 25% to relevant prices listed.
PRICE - 'I'	Extra for supply and application of even 50mm layer of bitumen sand mix on to client prepared concrete foundation base, as BS2654 Appendix A.3.5.

Site Conditions

Erected tank prices are based on the following conditions:—

1.	Site to be freely accessible to road transport, without bund walls but with good hardstanding and working space around each tank for our erection equipment and personnel.
2.	Foundations to be at ground level, complete and cured prior to commencement of work on site.
3.	Erection crews will be permitted seven-day access to site, with unrestricted working hours.
4.	Hydraulic testing is included, based on tanks being filled with clean water and emptied to drain after test without cost to ourselves. Test water to be available at a rate specified by INTEG.
5.	Radiographic examination of welds can be carried out at extra cost listed (Price 'B').
