Products contained in Integ tanks often require to be mixed or blended - for a variety of process reasons. Mixing is achieved most efficiently by means of an electrically powered bladed unit - as shown typically above.

Where efficient mixing of blend oils, effluents, weak slurries or chemicals is needed, liquid jet eductors (venturi nozzles) can be fixed near the base of the storage tank with continuous circulation by an externally mounted pump. Jet eductor nozzles are sized to provide a specific product turnover time and can be supplied in cast, mild or stainless steels, or polypropylene.
Integ design and fabricate special duty process vessels incorporating Silverson high shear mixers which guarantee homogeneous mixing and blending of many 'difficult' products without the need for tank baffles.
Mixers are top or side mounted. Constructed in 321 or 316 stainless or hastelloy for vessels up to 35 cubic metres capacity. A 'Duplex' model has been specially developed to disintegrate solid rubbers and polymers for lube oil adhesive and similar industries.
