With many years of experience in the storage, handling and processing of liquids, plus representation on BSI tank committees, Integ are well qualified to offer a design service to consultants, fabricators and authorities. Design calculations are carried out by our Chartered Engineers using special purpose software. Detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and tanks can be prepared to established design codes using the latest CAD draughting techniques. Integ offers a FREE design estimating service whereby estimated design thicknesses are determined for quotation purposes and budget quotation given for design calculations and drawings.
Computer generated design calculations to PD5500 and ASME VIII design codes for vertical and horizontal cylindrical vessels subject to pressure using Finglow software including modules for local loading, tall columns with wind/acceleration/seismic loading, cyclic pressure loading and heat exchangers.
Design of vertical and horizontal tanks to BS799, BS2594, BS2654, BSEN 14015, API 650using in-house software including wind loading/holding down bolt design to CP3 Chapter V and BS6399 Pt.2. Seismic analysis of vertical storage tanks in accordance with BSEN 14015 Appex G. All calculation outputs including full printout of formulae and variables etc.
Design of internally and externally stiffened tanks to BS799 using in house software plus Roark & Young on Mathcad for detailed analysis of plate and section loading. Designs optimised for most economic combination of plate thickness and stiffening sections.
Thermal design of tank heating coils, jackets and immersion heaters to maintain and raise product temperature. In house software covers vertical cylindrical, horizontal and rectangular tanks. Features include the facility to consider varying insulation types and thicknesses plus a range of wind speeds.
Simple tank and vessel support and access structures designed to BS499 and BS5950 using the Scale Structural Calculations Ensemble software.
General arrangement and detail fabrication CAD drawings produced on the latest AUTOCAD work stations. AO size ink jet plotter for output to film or paper. Drawings can be produced with client logo and title blocks. For clients with CAD systems floppy disks supplied in DXF or Autocad DWG format. Drawings can also be emailed.
For existing tanks we offer a full condition survey and report service including ultrasonic thickness checks and fitness for purpose reports including change of use when it is the intention to store higher S.G. products.
Xerox plain paper AO size plan printer for drawing prints and reproducibles. Xerox collating photocopier for multi copying of design calculations.

Whilst Integ would prefer to quote for design and calculation work on a fixed price quotation basis against project scope and specification details, the prices noted below are for guidance and budget purposes. All prices are in Pounds Sterling and exclusive of VAT. Calculations and design drawings are based on BEN 14015:2004 for tanks to be erected on site, but work to other design codes can be quoted on request. Integ would expect clients to advise details of any local regulations, design and site requirements. See separate specification sheets for details of scope of work included in the various design categories. Design work can be carried out on an hourly rate basis for calculations, design and detail work.
